The Gaia Project: The Lost Fleet expansion introduces four new factions (Darkanians, Mowyed, Space Giants, Tinkeroids), two new planet types (Proto planets, Asteroids), and a map overhaul featuring holes for "Ships of the Lost Fleet". These ships allow access to new, dedicated Q.I.C. actions, technologies, and artifacts on a new board.
